Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Her talent was recognized by an agent, who advised her on her decision to pursue a career in the entertainment world. In the end, after much reflection she left university in order to work within the entertainment industry. Her disappointment was with the performance she gave in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To prove herself, she worked very hard to improve her acting skills and appeared in many low-budget films.
