Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India, is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. The year she was born, she was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as the character Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her professional career started in the early 2000s, as a young actor. Her return to the film industry after completing her studies in fashion. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy took on the first of her Malayalam projects as well as began to work in Tamil simultaneously. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film was not an immediate success in the box office. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she had opted from a few films which she then began working on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In two of her films, she acted quickly, along together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note in Prabhu's Thodari. The film was pushed back in 2015, and there are reports that it will be released after September, 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
