Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously after enrolling first in Stanford University. Early successes were with films like Pleasantville, Election and Legally Blonde. But it was her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde's box office smash that marked the beginning of her professional career. She also appeared as an actress in The Dictator (1998) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2006). As well as her profession as an actress, Sheila is also an artist, who has exhibited her paintings in many galleries.
